Jeremy met Missi while attending a fishing convention years ago with his friends. She worked at the convention and Jeremy’s friends told him about how beautiful she was (in a way to talk him into going). They were not wrong. Jeremy found Missi to be the most beautiful woman he had even seen. They started dating and enjoyed each other’s company immensely. Despite this, their paths in life brought them in separate directions.
Fast-forward a couple years to when Jeremy’s work brought him to Woodland, Washington. Knowing that Missi was living in Washington at the time, Jeremy decided to reach out to her. As coincidence often surprises, Jeremy and Missi found out that they were within blocks of one another. They immediately started seeing each other again and fell in love.
Their wedding at Pine Peaks this past weekend was a very relaxed and informal affair. Immediately after the wedding ceremony, there was a champagne toast for everybody and Jeremy gave a very powerful and emotional speech in front of his loved ones. After the speech, everyone went into the reception area for hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.
The hors d’oeuvres were catered by Maucieri’s Italian Bistro and consisted of buffalo wings, bruschetta, and the popular antipasto platter. The guests loved the food! This was followed by 20 of Maucieri’s custom pizza’s prepared by Jodi from Maucieri’s in Pine Peaks wood burning pizza oven. This pizza is always a tradition toward the end of each wedding reception. After the hors d’oeuvres and pizzas were all gone, the wedding cake was served. Guests had the choice between white or chocolate (or both!) cake.
Pine Peaks Event Center was the perfect setting for their wedding and reception. It allowed the wedding party and guests to have a very private and laid back experience. Whether they were dancing to music in the reception hall or outside playing lawn games, everyone had a smile on their face. Especially the Bride and Groom.” – Mike & Cassie
